How many golf simulators do you have?
BackSpin features 5 simulators from TruGolf, designer of the industry standard and #1 selling golf simulator software used in the most golf simulators around the globe.
How do the golf simulator fees work?
Prices are listed per simulator hour. It doesn’t matter if you have 1 or 5 golfers, the hourly rate is the same. The standard winter rate is $45/hour on winter weekends, with discounted weekday prices ($40/hour). See Hours & Pricing for current seasonal rates.
How many people can golf on a single simulator?
There is no set limit to the number of golfers, but typically 1-4 golfers works best. More golfers on a simulator just means each person will get to play fewer shots during the allotted time.
How long does it take to golf 9 holes?
On average, 2 golfers can play 9 holes in about an hour and 4 golfers can play 9 holes in about 2 hours. Just like real golf, a lot depends on your own pace of play. You can also ask one of our associates about gimmie length or the auto-putt setting if you would like to get through more holes.
Do we need to make a tee time in advance?
It is strongly encouraged to book online or call us to reserve your tee time in advance. Simulators fill up fast, especially during the winter months.
Do you serve alcohol or other drinks?
Yes, we have a full bar including tap beer, liquor and wine. Enjoy a variety of craft beers on tap as well as Bud Light and Busch Light.
We rotate our craft beers periodically but our staples include Blue Moon, and varieties from Bell’s Brewery and Odell Brewing Company.
Of course, soft drinks, Gatorade and water are also available.
Do you serve food?
We carry a small assortment of snacks (e.g. chips, candy bars and nuts). However, you are welcome to order from the neighboring Restaurant, have something delivered or bring in food from elsewhere.
Should I bring my own golf clubs?
Absolutely! Most golfers prefer to use their owns sticks but if you need to rent some, no problem, we have rental sets available to rent upon request.
Do I need my own golf balls or tees?
No, we provide both golf balls and tees. In fact, it is important that clean golf balls are used on the simulators (dirty ones will mark the screens). Let us know if you notice a dirty or scuffed golf ball while playing and we will gladly provide some new ones.
Should I wear my golf shoes?
It is best to wear sneakers or casual shoes. Soft spikes will damage the indoor turf over time.
Can I book a group outing or event with multiple simulators?
Yes, please call if you would to book adjacent simulators. If you would like to host a party or event at BackSpin please email us contact@golfbackspin.com. BackSpin is a great venue for your work outing, birthday party and bachelor/bachelorette parties.
Testimonials
Had a great time, two hrs, 3 of us, 16holes at St Andrews. Definitely going back, but next time, probably not putting. Really like to set his I’m hitting the drives and approach shots with the diagram of launch and head position.
Pleasantly surprised at best selections, Surly Coffee Bender and Deschutes Freshly Squeezed IPA were my choices. There is a pizza/bar in same strip that delivers.
Currently in their first year and with 5 slots might not seen like enough but I think just right for now and the space send small but is used very well – Michael Kerwood
I want to start by saying I HATE golf. However, my husband loves it. It was his birthday and I wanted to take him somewhere fun that he would enjoy. He loved this place. It’s basically a bar with golf simulation. They have 5 simulators. Of course afterwards he wanted one for the basement so we checked out the cost….$30,000…whoa!!! Anyway, it’s very clean. Nice bathrooms, floors, furniture, ect. Staff is very friendly and non-judgmental. Frequently check in and very willing to help. I am so bad…soooooo bad. But good news, there is plenty of booze. The prices are reasonable. If you are golf fan, it’s a definite must. If you hate golf it is still tolerable. – Alexis R.
